Most of us have seen pictures of sad looking radios that have accumulated decades of dust. After you disassemble that radio to clean it up, there is an easier way to maintain it's great looking appearance. This "keyboard vacuum" works VERY WELL on radios as well. So get around those knobs, the antenna, keypad...

I just use one of those squeezy blower things that look like a rocket. Normally for blowing the dust off camera sensors and film slides but works well everywhere else too.

An eerily similar model the OP linked was involved in a nearby house fire several weeks ago.

My compressor was not stolen, just being funny, but on the serious side yes a good drier and the tank is drained every night. Air tool cost more than the compressor now a days.

My last Harbor freight cordless drill that lasted years, the first page of the instructions said, do not charge unattended, or overnight! Dumberment at work, could you Imagine Apple or Samsung having to tell you not to go to bed with it plugged in? I know there was incidents years ago with them, but has been fixed

With millions of batteries out there, there are bound to be a few well publicized stories to freak out the masses. I suppose we can all live our lives in fear, or simply take a few precautions if we don't trust the technology. I'm betting more house fires have other causes than cheap Chinese lithium batteries.

Long as you buy half decent ones it's fine. The complete junk ones like those fake 5000 mAh 18650s (not physically possible at the current time) or those poorly slapped together ebike conversion kit batteries are a good firestarter. The fire department puts those out all the time on the bike paths. I'd probably keep a small 5 pound Purple K cylinder in my bike basket if I still lived in the city.
