hi all, does anyone know if earl nws in monmouth co. is still using their vhf system? i've been trying to monitor them and haven't picked them up in a few months now. i'm using a uniden bcd396xt and i'm in the hudson co. area. the frequency in question is 143.125mhz. thanks in advance.

Yes, PD/Security is still using 143.125 PL 179.9. I just picked them up on it.
Same here- I have picked them up on and monitored both PD1 and FD1 recently.

any chance they are gonna go to a P25 trunked like other bases?.
They are going. Part of the infastructure is already in place.
