AURORA, Colo. -- A suspect is in custody after a pursuit involving Denver and Aurora police, who said they were fired at.
The chase ended just before 6 a.m. Friday when the vehicle being pursued crashed into a yard at 19th Avenue and Chester Street.
Police said the driver of a silver Cadillac jumped from the car after it crashed. He ran, losing a shoe in the process.
The suspect was apprehended a short time later on 19th Avenue between Montview and Chester streets.
