This evening about 2030 local time I heard an ELT on 121.5. Doing my civic duty as a ham operator I notified the FAA and they were more than glad to hear from me since many people were hearing the same music. Did anyone in the West Central Missouri area hear it? It was coming in full quieting at one point in time. I am pretty sure it was airborne but I could be wrong.
