Would like to sell or trade this radio. It is like brand new and works as good as the day it was new. There has been some mod. to it, that was done by a ham person and not a CB shop. The mods. are extra channels, It came out as a 4 band radio and now it is a 8 band radio with the 11 meters added on. So this makes the radio 9 bands total. Has almost 500 freqs. in it. Has a D-104 hand mic, manual, power cord, and the brackets. 1-30 watts and will swing to 60 watts on AM and 150 watts on SSB.

I for one wouldn't let some unknown, possibly technically deficient person, modify any radio, especially a CB to be used in the Amateur Radio bands. If you modify a CB to do the Amateur Radio bands you ask for trouble. Selling to some CB nut who may one day interfere with someone who is legally licensed. It's almost certain to not be type accepted, even as a CB radio.

You are RIGHT. Here is what i do not like. Were i live there are people that stays on channel 40 in a town about 15-20 miles from me. Thay say they are CB people, But all of them have radios that are used by ham people. They get on and just bragg about how much power they have. Not one day goes by unless you hear i am running 500 watts, I am running 1400 watts. Yes sir i have linears also, but i do not even have them in line with my CB radios. These guys run power all the time, even to talk local. I guess the FCC is not as bad as they use to be. Well i got this off my chest now and i hope i did not upset anyone.
