Can a Cap+ TG use both Enhanced Privacy (EP) and Basic Privacy (BP) on the same TG, or will the users not hear each other half the time:

I put an alias of "Basic Privacy (BP)", but I honestly can't tell which it is.

Not with the same radio (that I know of), and it looks like the same radio doing both. Can you capture "-6 cap_plus.wav" a raw wav file, and either post it here or PM me with it. I would love to see that.

3019 is the BP radio, 3000 is the ADP radio. Two separate radios. Ignore the fact that he has the alias of "Basic Privacy (BP)" on that talkgroup.

According to the picture, 3000 shows "EP/RC4" as the first transmission and "BP" as the last.

I must have DSD-FME on my brain. I think to capture a raw wav file using DSD+, you press "R" to start and "r" to stop. This is from memory, so I could be wrong.

Could just be a signal issue. Things like determining whether a DMR system is TIIIStd or TIIINonStd, the usage of various types of privacy, etc really are going to require a decent signal, and for voice stuff quick switching to the voice channel to get informaiton if the CC itself doesn't specify ENC information. In my opinion stuff like this can happen on slow computers or bad signals. Of course it could be a bug.

DMR voice headers have an enc bit; when set, DSD+ will display "BP".

If a DMR PI header is seen, DSD+ will change that display to "EP". A couple of bits in the PI header specify RC4, AES128 or AES256 encryption.

If the PI header is not seen due to poor decoding, you'll just see "BP". Clean up the signal.
