Just monitoring a potential chase involving covert cars, AIR1, Morinville and Stony RCMP. Patched on West Div to 155.535 and 155.565. They mentioned that the EPS units might have to switch to Simplex1 to maintain contact with AIR1 if they get too far out. Just curious if anyone knows what this simplex freqency might be?

Yeah, they were chasing the wrong truck for quite some time by the looks of it. It's a good thing the truck turned into that yard when they did, less than 500m down the road a RCMP cruiser had laid out a spike belt. Hahaha... That would have been a good one to explain.

There's another one on Sherwood Pk RCMP 155.52 and North Div Dispatch right now. Air 1, covert units, unmarked RCMP dog cars and a whole bunch of marked vehicles... it's the night for cross boundary pursuits.

In this case most likely they would of used simplex or west simplex
