What do you think of the new FaceBook messaging system?
Have you had the following problem?
You want to send a message to someone, you type in the message then you hit send. Another message window pops up to allow you to send another message to the same person. Is one for the subject and one for the message? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Geez you people stop over reacting. FB is useful in many ways. I keep in touch with a lot of friends all over the country via FB, most of which i would have otherwise lost track of long ago.

Thieves know when your not home via FB?? What gave you that idea? I don't see how.

Now Twitter on the other hand, thats useless, and if you tweet constantly from your phone then yeah i could see how some would know if your home or not.

I haven't ever seen what your talking about. When i send someone a message a single window opens up showing the To, Subject, and then where you put your message, then hit send. Done..

Over reacting? Really. For responsible,professional adults who value their privacy and dignity without a need to post things like (example); how many times they take a crap in a day or "can't chat,gotta call off work first then I'll be here all day spilling my useless drivel"

I liked the older system better myself. FB is always changing and evolving, sometimes for the good, sometimes for the not so good. I like it because I have been able to connect with people I went to school with before most people here were born.

If you don't like it, don't drivel about it. You can simply say "I don't use it" and then leave. You don't have to give us your unprofessional opinion on it. The original poster asked a question if we like it or not. You don't have to flame him.

Remember, the SAPS want you to conform to what they say, not what you want!

I'm a responsible 35 year old adult, and I find that it's a great way to keep up with friends and business associates. It's far more than people reporting on what they're having for dinner - it's a way for businesses and organizations that I have an interest in to spread the word about upcoming events, training sessions, and the like. There's a social aspect to Facebook, but there's also a business side to it as well. I've often found those who shun Facebook know the least about it.

As for the OP's message, I haven't noticed any difference in the messaging at all.

Nobody care if you like it or not. That was not the issue here, that being said all the people I know only friend people they know not some clown out in cyberspace! And to the OP the new way to message someone works for me..

As I said if you don't like facebook no one cares. That still has nothing to do with the original post. So what is the problem? Use facebook as you see fit, If you don't like facebook respond to a post that asks if you like facebook or not. You respond to a post that has nothing to do with answering the op's question is this not correct? How do you see it different? Or do you just want to be hostile towards anyone that likes facebook?

Hey, I'm 56 years old, have 139 "friends" on FB and have a great time with all of them! People who make complete a$$e$ out of theirselves are not my friends and if my friends make a$$e$ out of theirselves, they are no longer my friend. Guess some people never had friends accept them on FB.

Is anyone else a member of RadioReference Memebers and RadioReference.com on Facebook? I believe Lindsay is the administrator of the first and the second one has 65,457 people who "Like" it.

Most of the people that talk negatively about FB and other successful websites and businesses:

1. Don't use it cause they can't figure it out.
2. Are careless with security in general as it relates to the internet and electronics.
3. Are grumpy old men too old to learn new tricks
4. Are jealous of the $$$$$$ being made
