Factory resetting 396T

Any one know how to do a factory reset a 396T ?
I need to reset my scanner, yesterday it was scannning digital. My little girl had it now its not scanning any digital but works with everything else.
I tried to reload everything with uniden software but no luck,

Page 56 of the owners manual. Hold down (2),(9),and (Hold) while powering the scanner on. You will lose everything you have programmed into the scanner. You might want to check to see if you have a SQK shut off for your digital system or if you have the system set to P25 before you do this.
