BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Favorites question

Im having trouble understanding Favorites in my bcd436. Do I have to set Full Database to ON, in addition to setting the Favorites to ON?
Then, how to I get it to actually scan only the Favorites and not all the ones in the Full Dataabase?

Turn full database OFF if you only want to scan your favorites list(s)
Select Lists to Monitor

but when i do that, i get a message saying "nothing to scan." even though ive set up four favorites.

Make sure the Favorites Lists are turned on. You also have to have the proper SERVICE TYPES enabled.

I assume your using Sentinel...

Edit your PROFILE...
And make sure Download and Monitor are set to ON for each Favorite list before you wright to the scanner...

I think of the “Full Database” as a huge default Favorites List (FL) because it’s listed along with all my custom made FL’s. Turn Full Database to off and whatever custom made FL’s you want to scan to on. In the menu choose “Set Scan Selection”>”Select Lists to monitor”.

Make sure you “Select Service Types” also.
