Fayetteville/Springdale AWIN Towers

Anyone one been having trouble monitoring Fayetteville or Springdale sites. Fayetteville is choppy and it appears Springdale is offline on my end. All my settings etc. are in order. Thanks for any help.

I've been listening to Fayetteville tower today on 854.2125 with no problem using DSD+Fastlane. I can't see or hear any signal on Springdale at this time, so it looks offline to me, too.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. It's mainly dispatcher that's choppy on pd and fd, mobiles and portables sound fine on Fayetteville. Glad to know it's not just me on Sdale.

FWIW, I'm having terrible trouble with Benton County Simulcast.

I'm visiting my step son in Bella Vista this week and everything was fine Monday, but now my SDS100 is deaf.

I thought it switched to a new control channel that wasn't in the DB, so I put all site channels in, but still no joy.

Any Benton county pros have any tips?

I don't have any tips, but I'm also experiencing choppy reception on the Benton County Simulcast towers using DSD+Fastlane this morning.

The Springdale AWIN towers are still be offline, too.

AWIN did put out a notice to subscribers Thursday, stating: "Tomorrow 10/13/2023 between 4am and 6am the Washington County Sim Cast will be having some test ran that could impact communications."

Not sure if it could be related as it's all in that area.

I assume that springdale simulcast is no more. Instead Fayetteville and Springdale have merged creating Washington County Simulcast. Washington county emergency management and sheriff seem to be on AWIN now as well so it would not surprise me if they made the switch in preparation of WashCo going live.
Again, this is pure speculation.

They dont have all the towers up and running yet because the reception in Elkins is horrible.
