Heard the FBI doing special ops today in the Pascagoula, MS and Mobile/Fairhope, AL areas. Being I was visiting someone later in the afternoon, I could not keep up with the events scenario-wise fully.

In the East Jackson County area they were using 167.5625 MHz simplex, analog mode. Initially heard this when they busted someone at a Pizza Hut near Hwy 90 & Hwy 63. Then as they got closer to the Mobile City area (not sure if situations were related) they switched to "Adam 11" which turned out to be 173.1500 MHz in APCO-25 voice mode.

In the later part of the afternoon (3 pm - ish) the aircraft unit identified its callsign but I could not write it down. They were doing something big in Mobile County, involving State Aircraft and Sheriffs and such. Will try to be on the lookout in media on a story.

I hope you enjoy learning of these freqs as I did!

That's interesting. 167.5625 (A-4) has been buzzing here in Raleigh N.C. for the past few days. It's all P25 encrypted here.
