Sounds like the battalions in Brooklyn and Queens are using the uhf side at this time mdc is coming over the air with there transmissions.............eng and trk are not on at this time

The MDC seems to be from the new Battalion cars (Pickups). 9th Battalion has been using a new car and MDC is now heard. Would have to look at the radio to see if it's UHF or just VHF with MDC.

The few id's that I saw seem to be in the 88** range I'll see if I can log some tomorrow.

In the office we have a display of all pick-up sites in the city, VHF and UHF. The chiefs are hitting the UHF pick-up sites only.

seems like all the new rigs are now coming with the UHF installed. Would be interesting to see if they swap any of the older radios or just wait for the unit to get a new rig.
