This is a parallel post i made on scan fan, but it is really bothering me so i want everyone's position.
I know there isnt all that huge of a contingent of us in Rochester, but i need a bit of help.
I have not had any problems programming all of the trunked systems i listen to in the state except for the Federal Medical Center's (FMC) UHF P25 System in Rochester into my BCD396T. i have tried every different way of acheiving this, btu i ahve yet to get a program built that will listen to it. The closest i have gotten is that when i run ARC396 or Uniden's Software and i have the online control running and keeping track of TG's, i get a whole bunch of TG's to pop up, but i never hear audio. i dont know if they are using some encryption method different from DES, but i know it is not the normal DES because with DES you at least get some scrambled audio. i know all of the Guards carry xts5k's. Reception is nto an issue as i live about 300 yards from the FMC and i still pick up their control channel signal 10 miles away from the FMC.
if anyone has a system built, let me know as i would be interesting in getting ahold of it.
