FEMA Disaster Drill Saturday March 19

On Saturday morning at 0630 hrs there will be a multi agency FEMA drill in the parking lot G of the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford NJ.

This drill will involve numerous federal agencies, state and local agencies and numerous hospitals. Reportedly there will also be numerous helicopters involved.

Numerous agencies including NYC Chief Medical Examiner were at the stadium for part of the drill all day Friday.

Numerous mobile command vehicles were also at the stadium parking lot prepping for the drill on Friday.

UTAC7, ITAC4, and StateComm 4N (NJSP) are all busy this morning with traffic from this drill.

It sounds like there's an ANG Blackhawk inbound to the stadium now with NorthSTAR to follow.

I heard some EMS & SP comms on 154.725 SPEN 3 and 153.785 SPEN 4 sounds like the gang was finishing up around 10.30am Squads were headed back up route 17

I left the Rutherford feed on all night & was woken up by this drill. Only heard the Fire coordination.
I'm sure the drill went easier since the lots were empty & all the crews were staged just outside the complex when it began. They did seem very organized though.

I keep hearing some kinda static on the 454.150 NJUTAC channel. Just keeps going in and out. Static, sounds as if somebody has an open mic. Has been going on for the last couple hours.

Is this channel digital as well? Because I have a Uniden BC370CRS and It's basically an Analog scanner. Could be the reason I'm hearing this static. Might be actual conversation going on, but since my scanner is Analog, I'm not hearing the conversation.
