Hey Guys,
Finally got my shortwave receiver that I always wanted the Icom R-75(Bottom left).
I think I have everything covered that I want to listen too now. The 2036 on the top right is for Unitrunker that is on the monitor to the right as well.
On the left for scanners are 2 BCT-15's and the Pro-2096 is the Digital workhorse. My 396(not in pic) is for the vehicle.
Here is some pics!

Here is one of the Electroline multicoupler's for the Diamond Discone, kind of a crappy pic

And the antennas

Take care

That really is my favorite looking setup yet. Very clean - and deceiving since you have a lot more going on that would appear at first glance.

I always wonder tho - Do you find it annoying to not have the radio (like your Icom) right in front of you when you are monitoring? I am okay with having a scanner off to the side, but if I'm going to do anything with my FT-100 I always like to have it directly in front of me.

Again, nice setup.

Mike

PS: Oh - who makes that multicoupler and what's the model? I can't read it that well. Disregard this question - I found it on Ebay

Thanks for the comment Mike. That is indeed the one! I have a second Electroline multicoupler for the LP-VHF antenna from DPD productions. Yes, I was looking for a place for the Icom so it would be closer to me so I can fiddle with the knob more :)

Nice job! Clean, neat, and functional, just like your garage! Your wife must love you!

How well does that pre-selector work with the Icom?

Works really good!. I'm just amazed on how this Icom grabs the signals, well worth the money for this receiver. My wife does love me LOL and the more organized it is the better for me! Garage is still coming along, I have to put another coat of epoxy on the floors
Take care

Awesome Setup. Looks nice and clean and organized. So my question is does the Splitter/Amp work well? I need one but don't want to shell out the money for a Stridesburg .M.C.. I think this might be my alternative. How is it?

Hey Path,
I got the Fedex rig from my wife when she went to the main Fedex hub in Memphis for training.
Simon, I did not win nothing on that cup. Actually I did not win on the other 1000 cups either.

Tons.

You probably mentioned it already somewhere but where did you get that side mount arm that the discone is on? I would like to set mine up that way so I can put the higain 800 omni at the top.

Yes, it is a wilson and it is a great performer. Pulls in a 800mhz system that is about 60 to 70 KM away!.
Mancow, That is just a piece of 1" EMT electrical pipe bent in that shape held on with some U clamps.
Take care guys and thanks for the comments.
