Fire Feed For Fourth !!!!

Now that fireworks are on sale, the rain has gone, and the heat expected to be 100+; this is typically the busiest time of year for fire calls. The number of simultaneous 'structure fire' calls last year was in sane.

As requested, I have put up a special feed for command and tac channels. I am already streaming the two Sacramento dispatch channels. I have separate receivers here for each group of channels, and am custom mixing the feed to RR. So if there's something specific you'd like, let me know.

I am presently mixing tac and command from separate radios on that feed. Earlier they were fighting 3 separate fires (and I believe had some other incident too) and it was wild to listen to.

It is calm right this second, but the fireworks will begin soon enough.

I think it was 5 years ago, our first year here in the metro area and the first with my scanner, and there were fires all over the county on the 4th. Nearly every tac from A6 through A12 were active as well as C6-C12 for Metro Fire. It was awesome for us scanner listeners!

Last year was insane. A6 to A12 and some C tacs all being used at the same time. If it stays as dead as it has been I will add Sac city tac to the mix later.

While a few fires today, they were just doing a "river rescue" but called it off because someone thought they'd seen the person an hour earlier. With sunset approaching I expect the number of fire calls to go up.

I am monitoring other fire channels and will add to the mix on this stream if something significant happens; or if there's a request for something specific and Metro A6+ are not too busy.
