Hello, My name is James Borden and I have a question, I have been trying to find a way to do Fire Tone Out for my local department for a while now. They are on P25 Phase 2 Digital. I have a BCD996P2 and when I go into program the Fire Tone Out I have three options, Auto, NFM, and FM. I also have the SDS 100. My question is how do I program them for digital Fire Tone Out? If there is no option at this time is there a chance that Uniden can do a firmware update to allow this.

In many departments that have migrated to trunked radio systems, they will continue to use their old tone and voice paging frequencies. They will be "patched" to the trunked system. You may do some research and see if that is the case for you.

Is your department still using analog radios for paging? If so, then you can do what you want with that.

I think I found the old VHF freq. Will be trying it this weekend on a PRO-2035. If I hear what I am hoping to hear will load up the BCT15X.
