Hey BMT - I live in Clearwater and have been trying to get something out of MacDill. Perhpas I'm too far (using a 396 with Diamond rh77ca) but I would think I'd get something. I have all the common MILAIR freqs programmed in. I also have problems with MacDill's trunked system. I have set up as a Mot II UHF, have entered the freq plan, and can get the control channel - then it stopped yesterday! Any thoughts? thanks!

Boy am I stupid - re-checked the band plan and noticed I entered it incorrectly - now I can pick up the trunked system - but of course much is encrypted!

BMT - amazing what doesn't work right when ya make a typo entering the base freq in the band plan!

I can very faintly pick up the tower - I'm sure if I was more than just inside my house it would be better - thanks!

I use an outdoor antenna and faintly pick up the tower here in Manatee county.
