Fm freq

Not sure where to post this. I was in Richmond,MI today and picked up FM 158.940 DC:074 I believe. Heard people talking on there not sure who they were. Any ideas.

Just heard a transmission 35 to 37 food cart enroute. Just heard 11 close the yard. Could this possibly be the prison in New haven off of 26mile Road. Since I was a former prison guard in Colorado and they said closed the yard that's why I'm guessing it's a prison. Sure sounds like it is.
Must be visiting day there today.

My other question is why are they not on MPSCS or are they? Or I'm hearing some other prison? I know it's not the Macomb jail or the juvenile justice center I believe.

Pretty sure it's the prison now I listen more. But why the fm frequency?

There are still alot of VHF used here at the Jackson prison..

The Prison on 26 mile in New Haven is licensed WPCY423 it shows 2 freqs 158.9400 and 156.0150 .155.7600 WQGE216 is also licensed to the Prison. they do have MPSCS radios as well but iam thinking the 158.9400 is for use prison in house most use non MPSCS for use at the prisons
