Hello:
New at this.
Have a 996, and have set all my Systems up as to modulation type as "Auto".
Heard that this might not be the best idea, as some freq's that are in their bandplan
as fm, might actually be nfm, and vice versa.
So, for the Mass State Police Trunked, do I want fm or nfm (for all) ?
How about also for the MSP, but Conventional mode ?
Auto is certainly the simpleset way for me to go, but if it picks the wrong fm or nfm mode, I certainly want to correct it, and put them in selectively.
Where would i find what it is actually using under "auto" ?
Where would I find listings for the correct mode to use ?
Thanks,
Bob
