Does anyone know what Fond du Lac County is going to use it’s 3 new 800 MHz frequencies for? (these 2 licenses were issued new a couple days ago):

854.0375, 856.9875, and 859.4375 (Service code: GE NON-trunked public safety)

All 3 of these frequencies are licensed as repeaters for 11K2F3E (analog voice) and 8K10F1E/8K30F1W (P25) at 50W (150W Max ERP) on the following towers:

WRUU965: Brandon (1263700), Fond du Lac CCB (1261292), Rosendale “Northwoods” (1263567), Oakfield (1263568), Ripon, Mount Calvary/Tower Road (1259350)

WRUU966: Campbellsport/Waucousta (1265409), Waupun

Both licenses also list 500 mobiles on the input frequencies.

Possibly related:

Fond du Lac County also has a portable repeater licensed as WRKA808 on 855.9625.

From Public Safety Committee Meeting Still digging for more info.

6. Resolution authorizing the designation of American Rescue Plan Act funds to provide an appropriation of $1,583,757 for installation of 800MHz 3 Channel Conventional Expandable Subsite. County Executive Sam Kaufman, Ms. Haase and Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt explained the resolution. Due to supply issues, Motorola has been notified to order the items needed for the project. Motion (Simon/Conley) to approve the resolution. Motion carried.

Possibly for intended for interop with other 800MHz neighbors.
