Seems I'm no loner able to receive this system not with the Unication G5, Uniden sds200 or any other radio, not even when I was in the county a few weeks ago having dinner. Has something changed? I have all the current system information in these units.

I was through that area last night and was receiving it on my sds100. I just checked the database and I see it's got a NAC of 9A6 listed. The NAC seems to have changed. My SDS100 is showing 00A for the NAC.

From what I read. this is a Harris system which can use any frequency as a control channel. 151.4675 does not show as control channel capable in the database. Add that frequency to the site if it is not included.

Can't offer any insight for Franklin specifically but I've mentioned before that I have noticed with trunked systems changing site IDs that for single site systems (like Franklin, Pitt, Dare, etc) it's a safer bet to run a wildcard "FF" on the site and RFSS for unfamiliar systems on the G5. As long as the system ID matches the Unication will still find the system. System IDs are a lot less likely to change than site IDs in my experience. Same for control channels in poorly documented systems or Harris systems that can use any frequency for control. Setup your known CCs in the list to speed things up then do a full spectrum search as a backup.

Let us know what you find and if you have any luck the next time you visit.

This was a great response! I’m headed back down there to Rustic Roots in Bunn next week, I’ll try the above methods.
thanks !!

I had problems with Franklin county for a long time. I finally added in all the frequencies for the system from the FCC database, and set the RFSS and site numbers to wildcard mode. After that, everything started working for my G5. Currently, my G5 says site 10 RFSS 10, but that changes. As far as the SDS, I don't have one so I don't know how that works

The RR database shows all of the frequencies on the license. If all of the OP's radios stopped working, the system must have rotated to the one frequency not listed as control channel capable for the site which is 151.4675. If only control channel frequencies were downloaded from the RR database, that frequency would not be included in the site for any of the radios. The SDS scanners are the only ones capable of using site NAC and would be the only ones possibly affected by a change of site NAC if it were programmed to be used..

Just checked my G5 its still pulling a CC of 155.43, which has been the CC for quite some time.

Also looks like the new 800Mhz system is in the works.
