WELD COUNTY - Colorado State Troopers are investigating an accident that left one person dead and another driver hospitalized.
At around 7:30 p.m. Friday police say a pizza delivery man was driving a blue Mazda and ran a stop sign hitting an Oldsmobile on the driver's side. The accident took place at the intersection of Weld County Road 22 and 11.
The 55-year-old woman driving the Oldsmobile died at the scene, according to police. Here identity was not immediately released.
The 36-year-old delivery man was driving the Mazda. He was taken to the hospital and his identity was also not released. He is expected to recover.
Troopers are still investigation but do not think drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
