Frenquencys

In the Radio Reference database in the first column is the frequency and in the second column is the input. Which one is entered into the scanner?

The scanner listens to the output. The input is what the repeater hears, the ouput is what the repeater puts back out.

You'd program the frequency in the left-most colum.

The first frequency is what you want to enter,the input frequency is low wattage signal to the repeater.The repeater takes that signal and amplifies it so it can be heard by all mobil units all over the city.
