Well, we should probably start a thread for the Big 12 coming up. It should definately fill the downtown area and all the hotels are booked up. So what all should we be listening for? Maybe the feds will be a little more active, too.

Ok I'll bite....why would there be an increase in Federal activity?
I would think they would be setting up surveillance or emergency ops in case of a threat. Think of how many people are here for this.
On another note, I would assume the Ford Center channels on the city's EDACS will be flooded. And of course OCPD may have more ops than normal on their Bricktown channel.
But I would think there would be more coming here to listen to as well. Media coverage. Bus lines. That kind of stuff. Just wondered if any of you had any ideas on this...

I would think there would be a slight increase in the amount of radio traffic (like "we need more ketchup in the 2nd floor food court"), but I don't know about your guess on the feds. Sounds a little dramatic to me. I mean, it's only college sports. Maybe for the Superbowl or something, but c'mon.
(maybe that's what the terrorists want us to think, though, huh?)
