Curious why you would think the Chaplains need radios?
We'll forgive you for not realizing that there are as many spiritual emergencies in New York State as there are. :) That said, these chaplains are probably called to emergencies that have resulted in deaths or severe injuries where either victims or first responders could benefit from spiritual care. You can find out more here.

Still waiting on why folks think they would need radios, besides being called-out on the Cellular/PCS device.
Yes, some have a Fire or Police radio assigned, but they would not have their own radio network.

I am well aware of what a Task Force is, and would be used for, the same would apply for Mutual Aid/TF Dispatchers or a CISD Team, why would they need a Radio  when they get a phone call and are told to report to xyz location... still puzzled here

Think that did not come out right sorry?! I meant I should have
gone more often ..I had to clarify that...I still do not recall them
having commo gear (not that did not!) they either showed up
to a operation, exercise, I can only comment on 83-93 and usually
departed after their service or you just went to go see one at the
Chapel on base like in Korea, etc. thats all I remember...they
usually had a driver since they were officers of course I actually
beleive it was a MOS Chaplains assistant who might have had the
radios/commo gear (for that era) I do recall that..73,s Marcy

is to use and operate "Communications sytems and "Digital reporting systems"
for the Chaplain....Marcy
