Tuning knob on my receiver has gotten extremely hard to turn. Is there any adjustment that I can make to eliminate the condition?
Thanks in advance for the reply...

Thanks Spongella for your advise! The DeToxit worked as you reported. It took 5 days for mine to free up so it would rotate without any resistance. Works like a new one now! But one must use caution when loosening the set screw in the tuning knob, if you loosen it to much it drops down inside the tuning knob, Now all I have to do is find another set screw. I think it is a 2mm screw.

There is a groups.io reflector for this radio - not really as active as one would hope, but you might find a source for that screw (or at least confirm the size) here...
