Func+3 and Func+4

Can anyone define the following:
3600 cc Mode: Normal,Splinter,Table,Muiti-Table

9600 cc Mode: Normal,Table,Multi-Table

I am familiar with Splinter Channel but need info on the other items.

These are accessed from PGM,TRUNK then FUNC +3 or 4

Func + 3 is for 3600 CC Motorola VHF or UHF systems using one or more tables. Some 800 Mot systems are splintered, thus a splinter selection is available for correct trunk tracking.
Func + 4 is for the same with 9600 Project 25 systems, though Splinter is not used with Project 25.

Both work in conjunction with Func + 2 for setting Base frequency, Offset and Step.

Multi table is nearly useless using the keyboard on the scanner as only one entry can be made with Func + 2. However, Win96 will provide for up to 6 table settings making multi table a reality.
