All,

We have a case of battling submissions here, with one submission claiming one thing and another submission claiming something completely different for the same frequency. So can anyone (other than the dueling submitters... pistols at 10 paces anyone?) clarify if 155.220 is used by Life Ambulance, Gallipolis Fire Dept, Gallipolis City Maintenance, or any of them?

Thanks....

All Gallia County Fire and EMS are dispatched on 155.295MHz except Gallipolis Fire. Gallipolis Fire uses the 039.620MHz. Gallia County does have a north and south channel. I believe most operations are on south with a PL tone of 162.2. The north PL tone is 91.5.

As for Life Ambulance, 155.220MHz is possible but not 100% sure. That is a common Life Ambulance frequency for Scioto County with a PL of 186.2.

I also pick up Life Ambulance from the Portsmouth area on 152.870 MHz with a PL tone of 146.2 and from the Chillicothe area on a frequency of 153.680MHz with a PL tone of 100.0

I have heard them use 155.220MHz in Jackson, Ohio
