You need an EDACS capable trunking scanner, and you will only be able to hear FD & EMS (and some of the town services), as all primary law enforcement is in ProVoice digital mode (and cannot be monitored).

Let me thank you for your fast response,but I guess its time to take my scanner and throw it out in the street cause now its worthless.

Yeah, a quick trip through my head & I came up with the short-list of what you'd be able to receive on the HP-1 in Atlantic County for law enforcement:

Atlantic City (on their TRS)
Brigantine (on the county TRS)
County Sheriff (on the county TRS)
Buena, Linwood, Pleasantville, Somers Point (on their conventional channels)
