At approx 13:07 Ft Shawnee FD in Allen Co. S. of Lima Responed to a Gas Leak after units on scene and Explosion occured. 2 Firefighters down several Civilians. Lima and Elida called for Mutual Aid and Ambulance crews setting up a triage area. Check out ScanMiami Valley for feed and archives of radio traffic.............Hoser

More Evacuations are taking place, not sure how many structures are on fire at this time. Lima Central Catholic School along with other places are being evacuated.

WLIO rebroadcast of their 6:00 news program is available for the next 24 hours at http://www.wlio.com Good coverage of what happened. It sounds like everyone will be ok. Cable contractor struck a natural gas line causing the leak.

Also coverage of the 7 NW Ohio counties grant request to switch all public safety operations to MARCS.
