Am making a trip to Blackhawk/Central City, is the PD/FD still on conv. ch.'s? If not what tower would I put in for 800? What about the Sheriff?

Gilpin County is conventional VHF.
If you want to listen to the State DTRS, then the Dakota Site (1-024) and the Thorodin site (1-005) are your best bets.
