I hear a lot of activity on this frequency. Researching it a little show its a GMRS channel and its usage is national emergency and travlers assistance channel. The activity I hear often is what sounds like a husband and wife chatting. They use identifing numbers like 820 to base and so on. Some of the users seem like law men just by there lingo. Its a very strong repeater and anyone if the deleware valley area should hear it with an HT. I've also heard activity on 462.725, also a very strong repeater.
