Norman tried to patch Goldsby fire into Okwin. But no workie they found out that Goldsby has been playing with their radios with Purcell and now they have no patch capability. They did say we can go to ITAC4.

A little surprised that they didn't know that. Norman does a lot of runs into McClain County, particularly where folks think they live in Norman because that's what their USPS address is.

Still and all, the fire got put out.

And it was a little weird seeing the Chinook coming up from Lexington with the bucket slung underneath!

This is Okie-land I was surprised a helicopter with a water droppy thing was with in 500 miles of here.
The fire chief had to get the confirmation about no patching form Norman's radio tech guy.

I was surprised that the Guard had a bucket, but glad that they do. Of course, if there isn't a good-sized pond nearby it makes for long pauses between drops.

Not surprised about NFD. Something about 7 Ps ... :roll:
