I have everything working with Proscan running the web server for my SDS200 except the port forwarding. I am using an ethernet wifi adapter to connect the 200 to the network. Interestingly in the Google Home app, the wifi adapter does not show an IP address, nor activity, and the SDS200's IP address does not show up on the connected devices. Yet, I am able to control the radio from a separate laptop on my network, Anyway, I can not get the wifi adapter nor the SDS200 to show up in the list of available devices to setup port forwarding in Google Home. I can't even assign static IPs because they don't show up in the connected device list either, which could cause other problems down the road. Has anyone successfully setup Proscan with port forwarding using Google Nest Wifi?

I'm not using Google Nest and I'm not sure the problem is specific to Google Nest. Just make sure the Router Port Forwarding is using the computer IP address running the ProScan server and not the scanner IP address. Also the Port Forwarding uses TCP(or TCP & UDP), and the same port # that is set in the ProScan server.

Use https://canyouseeme.org/ to verify the Port Forwarding is configured correctly. The server needs to be running when doing this test.

Finally got it working after multiples resets of the network and deleting and adding the exact same port rules on the router. Not sure why it was so finicky, probably just a Google nest thing. Now, I am trying to get it to play through VLC and when I put in the external IP address and port (x.x.x.x:yyyy) VLC immediately says it can't be played. Works great through a browser.

Right-click the Listen Live link as outlined in red below. Left-click "Copy Link Address"
This is the full URL which should be pasted into VLC: MEDIA > OPEN LOCATION FROM CLIPBOARD.
Stream should play after you click PLAY
