Probably more of a recovery at this point.

Grand County SAR and EMS responding to Radium on a water rescue. Called in as a "drowning victim" who is still in the water.

Radium is a popular rafting spot on the Colorado River. There are Class 5 rapids there that are probably unavigable due to current high water conditions.

Update: Subject is now out of the water. CPR in progress.

Not sure how long he/she was submerged. Possibly 30 minutes.

EMS reports a subject is 50 year-old woman. Victim of a rafting accident.

CPR now in progress for 90 minutes.

Ambulance en route to Kremmling Memorial Hospital. Asking for a pronouncement of death by a doctor.

Would imagine the lack of cell phone coverage in that area contributed to the lengthy CPR. Kudos to people on-scene for not giving up on her until medics arrived.
