but I was wondering, 3.5mm into the computer or the scanner?

You can build your own with a simple audio transformer that has windings to match the speaker output and the computer input.

Male end into the radio and you will need to get a male to male extension to go from the isolator to the PC. Hope that helps.

That does help. I already have a male to male going from the scanner to the computer.
