He mentioned BKB was working on it so Im going to say its Greenfield also. I will have to try to get him on the radio again and see what the NAC is to get into it.

FYI, the Toledo repeater has been down since the wind storms this summer... They are planning on putting it back up sometime.

Also I added the Chelsea UHF repeater

Does that mean the coordination I sent in one year ago last February may get acted on? May be a letter of approval or denial? Or maybe at least some kind of response??

I was at the repeater council meeting last year at the Cedar Rapids hamfest. Things were supposed to change and coordinations acted on but this is the first sign of anything since then. I stopped holding my breath and uncrossed my fingers and toes quite a while ago.

I see the repeater council is finally back from vacation. They updated the 2+ year old listing at:

Iowa Repeater Council, Inc.

I see some new repeaters have been added, but don't require a tone as outlined in the August 2006 open meeting.

Probably better off self coordinating :)

Radioreference.com has changed its policies on Amateur Radio repeaters being listed in the database.

Now all amateur radio repeaters can be listed in the RR Database and the database has been changed to allow this.

timkilbride and egrams have done a great job keeping the Iowa DB up to date and all known active repeaters should be submitted here: Submit Data to RadioReference

This will help consolidate the information and make radioreference.com the best source on the internet for amateur radio repeater listings.
