HamCo using SAFE-T

Today, Hamilton County is using their SAFE-T TGs In the clear. Not sure if it's an issue with MESA or what but Fire EMS is on the regional mutual aid again, and SO was on the LAW tg.

That's really weird because I'm WFH today & monitoring the Indy ISP Post & I have not heard anything HC-related & have nothing in my ProScan logs. What tower were you hearing them on? The last log I have is Carmel PD using the Sheriff & Small Towns TG (10300) on Safe-T on 10/17.

Speaking of HC, they tested automated fire dispatch (I have an old GP-300 dedicated to 154.010) earlier this afternoon.

I got them off Sheridan and off Boone simulcast, will see what else I get if I catch them again. Weather has some interesting catches with the storm system on way. Been catching lot of Montgomery and Clinton traffic too.

It’s sporadic. Not sure what the rhyme or reason is because it’s all the same agencies doing their normal activities (at least what I’ve heard)…. They have to be doing it on purpose because there are a few steps involved to change systems (if this is incorrect please educate me).
