Does anyone else notice that Hamden Fire dispatch audio seems very low lately? Or is it me.

Yes, I've noticed too from Cheshire. For me it's about as equal as 154.430 now, which previously always had a much lower signal.

Had a friend contact me yesterday and said that Trenton fire has moved from the county TRS to NJICS.. I worked at The Trentonian for a long time as a photog, reporter and editor but I'm retired now and don't keep up with listening to Mercer County anymore.

This might have something to do with any changes with audio. Just a thought. As I say I don't follow or listen anymore.

But what does that have to do with Hamden CT?

T.V. If you read this can you send one of the guys over there to turn up the TX audio. It's bad.

I don't think turning up the audio would do it; I think the actual power has dropped. It's as if they switched the main dispatch transmitter on 154.160 to the tower or even power level (or both) of the volunteer frequency. From my residence in Cheshire, I've always received 154.160 extremely load and clear and the 154.430 very weak. Now they are both just as weak.
