Yes it was, they had a problem with power issues after the other nights wind storm, they however should have rectified the situation by now, so it wont go into failsoft again, then a permanant fix will go into place about 30 days from now.
I've noticed during the past couple of weeks several units and dispatcher(s) advising that they could not understand, because they went/were "Digital" (so I know its no a scanner issue). I think this would be a very big safety issue?
Ex: 1-2 weeks ago, EMS unit to Hospital with patients vitals (unit blamed it on skip?). Yesterday two units at a chimney fire could not communicate because of it.
