I have a Uniden Bearcat BC8 Nascar Trunktracker III and I need help with everything. I am hoping someone can give me a step by step process on how to program this scanner. Im fairly confident I entered the frequencies correctly but not quite sure. Now it is asking for Group ID numbers which I am unfamiliar with. So I'm praying someone can start from the beginning and tell me what to do in order to get my frequencies entered. I want all of ROCKINGHAM COUNTY entered and my dept. Raymond. Any advise is greatly appreciated. I been looking at the manual and other forums for over 3 hours and I am still clueless. Thanks in advance!

FreeScan doesn't support the BCT8 (please check this sort of thing before making referrals - it just leads newcomers down the wrong path). Scan Control and ARC8 (from BuTel) does, however, and ARC8 has an edge in that it supports RR imports, where Scan Control uses a kludgy (but it does work) copy/paste utility.

For doing it manually, see the link below...

Our database is available via the link in the blue toolbar under the site title. Without knowing what state Rockingham County is in, it's hard for anyone to know how to help further...best regards..Mike
