Thanks,

I too had no luck with the FCC data base search.
They are useng Two Way Raidos, Drivers have handheld raido.

FWIW - I'm not in your particular area, but, from my experience, I would lean towards them either being on a community repeater or one of the LTR systems Mike s104 mentioned.

I'm not sure what scanner you're using, but if it's a LTR capable Uniden, you must put the channels in logical order - sort of like an EDACs system.

BUT - LTR systems usually don't go 1, 2, 3 etc as shown in the database. For starters, place the channels in the following order: database channel 1 in LCN 1, database channel 2 in LCN 5, database channel 3 in LCN 9, database channel 4 in LCN 13, and database channel 5 in LCN 17. This isn't cast in stone, but quite a few 5 channel LTR systems (both uhf and 800) use this setup.
