Myself and my wife like to tape the planes as they come over, they use to to come directly over my house, so low that when i taped them during the day time i could see their tail markings, and they were coming in pretty low at night,
As of late, they haven't been coming over my house anymore, they've been about 10 miles south for the last few weeks, i get them once in a while now coming over, why did they suddenly change my flight path?

Likely due to approach to another runway. Usually wind changes would cause this or maybe working on runway What airport?

Most Part 121 air carrier op specs have a 10 knot tail wind limit on a landing runway, mine does. Airports will turn the operation around to avoid the tailwinds and save a lot off missed approaches.

Less than five knot winds- Calm wind runway in use. At five knots or greater, they switch to the runway which is closer to the wind direction. This is a general rule.
