Help P-25 System in Gloucester

I purchased a 396xt to keep up with the digital switch. I understand Gloucester county has now switched over as I do not hear any analog police transmissions. I have freescan and used RR to download the programming for the county. However Gloucester did not have any talkgroups listed on the page how do I use my scanner to search or listen without having tgids listed to search?

In FreeScan, In the system screen, under ID Mode, make sure you have the ID Search button checked. You will then hear any and all talkgroups. Also make sure that if you are in virtual control mode, that you turn logging on. You will then be able to capture any TGs as they are received.

How you identify them is up to you...best regards...Mike

on the scanner pres Func+Scan. The radio will switch from ID SCAN to ID SEARCH.

On my older 396T it will switch just by pressing SCAN while it is scanning. Been listening to BearDen STARS site in search mode since there is so little other Appomattox traffic on there.
