A while ago, I remember reading here about the ability to get the replacement rods for the Radio Shack discone antenna (20-043) but I can not find that info to save my life. Does anybody remember that post and/or have the part number for those rods....???? I am talking about the ones for the cone assy....

Re; replacements...

All you need is a cheap tap&die set and a trip to an Ace Hardware or any hardware store should be able to provide you with the aluminum
stock to thread and make your own elements. Probably even better than
the original parts from r/s. Just make sure original length and diameter
is observed.
