Help programming pro-164

I have just picked up a pro-164 and the usb cord to program it today as well as the arc300 program and the radio reference database membership. I went and downloaded what I thought was Tooele county, not so difficult but there is not alpha tags other than numbers and it is all salt lake activity.
I was under the impression that it was as easy as checking the county and downloading it to the scanner?
What am I doing wrong?
There are not any real good instructions…. Any help would be truly appreciated.

If you got salt lake county UT, you probably did not select Tooele County UT. As for not getting Alpha tags, they should come automatically with whatever you downloaded from Salt Lake. Try your download again. If you don't want Salt Lake at all, you can delete it from your software, or just do not send those systems to the scanner.
