Help with Ames police frequencies?

Hi, I've recently renewed an interest in this hobby, and dug out an old Uniden BC 55XLT I haven't used for years

It works great on Des Moines police frequencies, even pulling them in as far as the south end of Ames, so I know the unit works

Works with State Patrol too

But Ames police does not come in at all - are they beyond what a BC 55XLT can do? or are there other police frequencies not listed? (I've used the online internet audio feed as a 'check', does anyone know what frequency the Ames police internet audio feed is based on?)

You need an 800Mhz trunking scanner to properly track the trunked systems that Story County and Ames Police are on.
