help with edacs

Hi: I programmed in an edacs trunked system in my 2096 that worked fine. I then added some fm freqs to the bank and the edacs control channel stopped working. I reprogrammed it deleting the fm freqs but nothing I do, even changing banks, brings back the control channel noise. I can pick up several frequencies in manual but never working as a trunked unit. Any idea how I can get back the control channel to work again? The same thing happens on my pro 97-the control freq does not seem to work. TIA, Adkad

You should not hear the control channel "noise" if it's trunking properly. You will hear it if is NOT trunking.
Are you sure you did not change the LCN? (Logical Channel Number). You can not use channel 000, 100, etc. on an EDACS system. You must start in channel 001, 101, etc.

Also, make sure the bank and trunk freqs. are "ED".
